Wildflower Meadows
On-site evaluation, Expert Design, Installation, and Tailored Maintenance Strategies for Residential and Public Spaces.
Bringing biodiversity to life with beautiful wildflower meadows.
We conduct thorough site assessments to guide ecologically appropriate wildflower specifications, sourcing high-quality local seeds from trusted suppliers, and employ skilled machine operators to ensure efficient preparation and sowing.
Our combined horticultural knowledge and design experience truly sets us apart.
We work with the client from initial concept right through to the final installation but every project begins with a well considered design. The design phase is where trust is built and meaningful collaboration begins.
Luke offers over 30 years of horticultural expertise, spanning commercial plant production, professional gardening, and landscape design, supported by a team of skilled landscape professionals.
When we carry out the installation of a project, we are always considering how the space will develop and how we can facilitate the ongoing growth and success of the space. Every detail is designed for lasting beauty and functionality, with long-term results in mind.
Excellent landscape designer, from planning stage to execution. Great experience of producing hard and soft landscaping to a very high standard. Luke designed several areas of our large back garden including patio, wildflower meadow, trees for screening and hedges. Excellent knowledge of plants to suit even the most challenging conditions. We continue to use him. He and his team of builders are amazing and work in all conditions and always deliver on time.
We design and create site-specific meadows that enrich biodiversity, offer enduring seasonal interest, backed by expert technical support.
Yes I can visit your site, carry out an assessment and discuss the options with you.
Yes, although it depends on soil fertility. In most cases, I can assess suitability with a few photos, identifying whether nutrient levels are too high for successful meadow establishment.
It depends on the soil. Lower fertility soil is ideal and usually means slower growth—but better long-term results. To provide interest from the start, I often include cornfield annuals for colour in the first year, with perennial wildflowers becoming established in the second year and subsequent years.
With the right maintenance—such as seasonal mowing, grazing, or harrowing—a meadow can thrive for decades. Without this, flower diversity typically declines after 4–5 years.
Collaborate with us to create a thriving meadow—designed, prepared, and sown for long-term success.
